6 kW prime / 8 kW standby — built as a road-towable lighting tower package for small commercial and light industrial.

The Outevo 6 kW Mobile Light Tower is used for retail units and small offices, workshops and repair bays, guesthouses and small clinics, typically intermittent prime duty with frequent start-stop cycles. Loads are normally light single-unit distribution boards.

Every unit is assembled and load-tested on our own production line for the 6 kW class. Shanghai Outevo Machinery Co., Ltd. has manufactured diesel and gas sets including this 6 kW rating generator sets since 2006 from a 20,000 m² production base in Shandong with a fully automatic line, and more than 2,000 sets have been delivered to over 100 countries.

Protection on the 6 kW set is IP23 or higher, upgradable for dusty, humid, rainy or high-temperature sites.

Heavy-Duty Mobile Light Tower Construction

The 6 kW genset and mast assembly are mounted together on a towing chassis, so lighting and power arrive as one unit.

6 kW Prime / 8 kW Standby Duty

Declared output is 6 kW prime and 8 kW standby at 380/220 V, 50 Hz, 1500 rpm. Design duty is intermittent prime duty with frequent start-stop cycles with light single-unit distribution boards.

Tier-1 Diesel Engine Platforms

At 6 kW the diesel engine is selected from Cummins, Perkins, Weichai and Yuchai, then matched and aligned to the alternator before full-load testing in our own facility.

Closed Water-Cooling with Forced Fan

Closed-circuit water cooling with forced fan and a large water tank is specified for the 6 kW set, which stabilises temperature in high ambient and continuous load duty.

Industrial Protection and Environmental Adaptability

The 6 kW set carries sealed dustproof, waterproof and anti-corrosion treatment to IP23 or higher, with uprated protection available for severe sites.

Flexible Configuration and Fast Deployment

ATS, remote monitoring module, cable winch and quick connectors can be specified on the 6 kW set; the control, protection and voltage settings are configured to the project specification.

Applications

Where this 6 kW mobile light tower is used

1. Night construction and road works The 6 kW mobile light tower is specified for night construction and road works, where the lighting mast is the primary load and the set runs at intermittent prime duty through the shift. Sites are normally without a reliable grid, so the tower carries its own diesel generator and fuel supply.

2. Mining and quarry night operations Quarries and open-pit operations use the 6 kW unit to light working faces, haul roads and loading areas after dark. Duty is intermittent with frequent start-stop cycles, and the set is built onto the towing chassis so the tower can be repositioned as the working face moves.

3. Emergency and relief lighting For emergency response and disaster relief the tower is towed to the scene and started on arrival, lighting a working area where no supply exists. Because the package is self-contained, lighting and power arrive as one unit and no separate generator has to be sited.

4. Rental fleets and event compounds Hire fleets and event or site compounds use the 6 kW tower as a lighting set that one operator can tow, position and start without lifting equipment. Duty is intermittent with frequent start-stop cycles, so servicing is planned around the rental cycle.

5. Remote camps and laydown yards On work camps, laydown yards and storage areas away from a supply, the 6 kW rating covers perimeter and task lighting through the night shift. Duty is intermittent, so fuel autonomy is sized around shift patterns rather than continuous run.

6. Rail, port and yard night shifts Rail sidings, ports and logistics yards use the tower where lighting has to be moved to the working front through the night. Access to the towing chassis and control panel matters as much as output, so the layout is kept serviceable from ground level.

Can the voltage and frequency be customised?

Yes. 380/220 V and 50 Hz are the published standard for the 6 kW rating, but voltage and frequency are set to your project specification under OEM/ODM terms, including 60 Hz and medium-voltage requirements where the project calls for them.

What is the minimum order quantity?
