Heavy-duty natural gas generator sets for sites without a reliable grid

400 kW prime / 440 kW standby — 500 kVA — built as a natural gas package package for mid-size industrial and site power.

The Outevo 400 kW Natural Gas Generator Set is used for production lines and compressors, hotels and commercial buildings, data and telecom rooms, typically continuous prime duty with regular load swings. Loads are normally panel boards with mixed motor and lighting loads.

Every unit is assembled and load-tested on our own production line for the 400 kW classs. Shanghai Outevo Machinery Co., Ltd. has manufactured diesel and gas sets including this 400 kW rating generator sets since 2006 from a 20,000 m² production base in Shandong with a fully automatic line, and more than 2,000 sets have been delivered to over 100 countries.

Protection on the 400 kW set is IP23 or higher, upgradable for dusty, humid, rainy or high-temperature sites.

Heavy-Duty Natural Gas Construction

The 400 kW gas set is built on a steel base with anti-vibration mounting, the gas train and control panel integrated before the unit leaves the works.

400 kW Prime / 440 kW Standby Duty

Declared output is 400 kW prime and 440 kW standby (500 kVA) at 380/220 V, 50 Hz, 1500 rpm. Design duty is continuous prime duty with regular load swings with panel boards with mixed motor and lighting loads.

Tier-1 Natural Gas Engine Platforms

At 400 kW the gas engine is selected from Cummins and Weichai, then matched and aligned to the alternator before full-load testing in our own facility.

Closed Water-Cooling with Forced Fan

Closed-circuit water cooling with forced fan and a large water tank is specified for the 400 kW set, which stabilises temperature in high ambient and continuous load duty.

Industrial Protection and Environmental Adaptability

The 400 kW set carries sealed dustproof, waterproof and anti-corrosion treatment to IP23 or higher, with uprated protection available for severe sites.

Flexible Configuration and Fast Deployment

ATS, remote monitoring module, cable winch and quick connectors can be specified on the 400 kW set; the control, protection and voltage settings are configured to the project specification.
