Shanghai Outevo Machinery Co., Ltd., a professional supplier of high-performance power generation equipment and customized power solution services, has officially locked down a tailored hybrid power generation project for a manufacturing factory in Nigeria. Breaking the limitations of single power supply mode, the company delivered an optimized small wind + medium gas generator hybrid power system, effectively solving the customer’s pain points of high fuel consumption and unstable factory power supply. The project has entered formal production and delivery phase, with on-site installation and commissioning scheduled for completion within one month after shipment.
Project Background & Professional On-site Assessment
The project initiation dates back to June 10, when the Nigerian industrial client initiated a power equipment procurement inquiry, initially planning to adopt a full wind power generation system to support daily factory operation. After fully understanding the client’s power demand and on-site environmental conditions, our company arranged professional engineering technicians to conduct on-site field assessment on June 29.
Through rigorous data measurement and operational scenario analysis, our engineers concluded that a pure wind power generation solution could not match the factory’s continuous and stable power consumption requirements. Single wind power equipment features low power generation efficiency in local working conditions, poor power supply stability and low overall cost performance, which may lead to intermittent power supply and hinder normal production operations.
Customized Hybrid Power Solution & Core Advantages
From June 29 to July 5, our technical and sales team maintained in-depth and continuous communication with the client, sorting out project demands and optimizing solution directions iteratively. Based on actual factory operation needs, our R&D and engineering team completed the full set of customized hybrid power solution design from July 10 to July 12.
Different from the client’s original single wind power plan, the final solution adopts a small wind turbine + medium gas generator + energy storage cabinet + ATS intelligent controller integrated hybrid power system, with two core competitive advantages:
First, the small wind turbine continuously charges the supporting energy storage cabinet, making full use of natural wind resources to replace part of gas power generation. This design greatly reduces the overall fuel consumption of the equipment, cuts down the client’s long-term operation and maintenance costs, and realizes energy-saving and eco-friendly power supply.
Second, the equipped ATS intelligent automatic transfer controller realizes zero-delay switching of power supply. Once the municipal power grid is cut off, the generator set will start instantly to take over the power supply, completely avoiding production shutdown, equipment stagnation and economic losses caused by sudden power failure, and fully guaranteeing the continuity and stability of industrial production.
Standardized Project Negotiation & Signing Timeline
After we delivered the formal solution, the client conducted internal professional evaluation and project research from July 12 to July 15. During July 15 to July 20, our team continued to follow up the project, responded to the client’s technical consultations in a timely manner, and supplemented relevant solution verification data.
On August 2, both parties held a special online meeting to discuss the technical details, equipment parameters, delivery cycle and after-sales service of the hybrid power system, and reached a preliminary consensus on all core terms. After the client’s internal final discussion and review, the two parties conducted the final procurement negotiation on August 20, and confirmed all project cooperation details.
The client officially placed the formal order with our company on August 25, marking the official landing of the Nigerian hybrid power generation project. Immediately after the order signing, our company launched the full-process production arrangement for the customized power equipment, strictly controlling production quality and progress in accordance with international industrial power supply standards.
Project Delivery & Subsequent Implementation Plan
The finished equipment was officially shipped on September 15. Our professional after-sales engineering team will arrive at the Nigerian factory site synchronously. It is expected that all on-site installation, system debugging and operational acceptance work will be completed within one month, ensuring the formal and stable operation of the hybrid power system.
Company Outlook
This Nigerian hybrid power project fully demonstrates our company’s professional strength in customized power solution design, on-site technical assessment, and intelligent power supply system optimization. In the global industrial power industry, single power generation equipment can no longer meet the diversified and high-standard power demand of modern factories. Our company always adheres to customer demand-oriented, breaks through the limitations of traditional single power supply modes, and integrates new energy and conventional power generation technologies.
In the future, we will continue to deepen the layout of the African market, rely on mature technical experience and perfect service system, provide more efficient, energy-saving, stable and cost-effective customized power generation solutions for global industrial customers, and help overseas enterprises solve various power supply problems and stabilize production operation guarantees.
