One open frame set package, 600 kW prime and 660 kW standby (750 kVA), aimed at heavy industrial and project power.

This 600 kW Open Frame Diesel Generator Set is specified for mining and aggregate sites, district cooling and chiller plants, hospitals and institutional campuses. Typical duty for the 600 kW set is continuous prime duty at high load factor, feeding main switchboards with motor-starting and step-load duty.

Assembly and full-load testing take place on Outevo’s own lines. The company has built diesel and gas sets including this 600 kW class generator sets since 2006 at a 20,000 m² manufacturing facility served by a fully automatic line; over 2,000 sets have shipped to more than 100 countries.

The 600 kW package is protected to IP23 or higher and can be uprated for dust, humidity, rain or heat.

Heavy-Duty Open Frame Construction

The 600 kW package is delivered as one assembled unit, so standby installation in a plant room or beside the workshop needs only positioning, fuel and cable connections and commissioning.

Design duty at 600 kW prime and 660 kW standby is automatic standby operation, so the set is sized against motor starting demand rather than the running load alone.

Tier-1 Diesel Engine Platforms

The engine is drawn from the Cummins, Perkins, Weichai and Yuchai platforms, matched to the alternator and load-tested before shipment, which is what proves first-start reliability after long idle periods.

Closed Water-Cooling with Forced Fan

Closed-circuit water cooling with forced fan and a large water tank keeps temperature stable once the set picks up load, which is the moment that stresses the cooling system most.
