Heavy-duty containerized diesel generator sets for sites without a reliable grid

Rated 1200 kW prime and 1320 kW standby at 1500 kVA, supplied as a 40HQ container package unit for heavy industrial and project power.

Where it is installed — district cooling and chiller plants, hospitals and institutional campuses, oil and gas field facilities — the 1200 kW set works at continuous prime duty at high load factor. Distribution for the 1200 kW set is usually through main switchboards with motor-starting and step-load duty.

Each 1200 kW set is assembled and load-tested in our own works. Outevo has produced diesel and gas sets including this 1200 kW rating generating sets since 2006 from a 20,000 m² manufacturing facility with a fully automatic line, and has delivered more than 2,000 sets to over 100 countries.

IP23 or higher protection is standard on the 1200 kW set, with higher grades available for dust, humidity, rain or heat.

Heavy-Duty Container Construction

The 1200 kW package travels as one unit on its base frame with lifting points, so it can be repositioned between work fronts without dismantling the enclosure or the control panel.

1200 kW Prime / 1320 kW Standby Duty

Design duty at 1200 kW prime and 1320 kW standby covers staged demand during construction, where the connected load grows as the works progress rather than being fixed at handover.

Tier-1 Diesel Engine Platforms

The engine is drawn from the Cummins, Perkins, Weichai and Yuchai platforms, aligned to the alternator and fully load-tested before shipment, which matters where the set stands idle for weeks between campaigns.

Closed Water-Cooling with Forced Fan

Closed-circuit water cooling with forced fan and a large water tank holds temperature through long shifts on open sites where the set is exposed to sun and dust.

Industrial Protection and Environmental Adaptability

Sealed dustproof, waterproof and anti-corrosion treatment to IP23 or higher, uprated where the set is sited on exposed ground or near coastal works.

Flexible Configuration and Fast Deployment

ATS, remote monitoring, cable winch and quick connectors can be specified so the set moves with the works and connects to a temporary distribution board quickly.
