One biogas package package, 500 kW prime and 550 kW standby (625 kVA), aimed at mid-size industrial and site power.

This 500 kW Biogas Generator Set is specified for hotels and commercial buildings, data and telecom rooms, quarries and crushing plants. Typical duty for the 500 kW set is continuous prime duty with regular load swings, feeding panel boards with mixed motor and lighting loads.

Assembly and full-load testing take place on Outevo’s own lines. The company has built diesel and gas sets including this 500 kW class generator sets since 2006 at a 20,000 m² manufacturing facility served by a fully automatic line; over 2,000 sets have shipped to more than 100 countries.

The 500 kW package is protected to IP23 or higher and can be uprated for dust, humidity, rain or heat.

The 500 kW package arrives assembled on its base frame, so it can be positioned in a plant room or service yard away from the process area without further fabrication work.

500 kW Prime / 550 kW Standby Duty

Design duty at 500 kW prime and 550 kW standby covers refrigeration compressors and process lines, which restart hard after any interruption and set the sizing case.

Tier-1 Biogas Engine Platforms

The engine is drawn from the Cummins, Perkins, Weichai and Yuchai platforms, matched to the alternator and load-tested before the enclosure is closed.

Closed Water-Cooling with Forced Fan

Closed-circuit water cooling with forced fan and a large water tank holds temperature through long refrigeration-driven load cycles in a warm plant environment.

Industrial Protection and Environmental Adaptability

Sealed dustproof, waterproof and anti-corrosion treatment to IP23 or higher, which also suits the wash-down environment typical of food plants.

Flexible Configuration and Fast Deployment

ATS, remote monitoring and quick connectors can be specified so refrigeration plant is picked up automatically and the duty engineer is alerted remotely.

1. Refrigeration and cold stores Keeps ammonia and CO2 packages, blast freezers and cold-store controls running so product temperature is not put at risk.
